Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Four leaf clovers, corned beef and cabbage, the color green and all kinds of great Irish folklore are associated with St. Patrick’s Day. As you celebrate the "wearin o' the green" this year, check out our St. Patrick’s Day facts and trivia to help you become a little more knowledgeable about this Irish holiday!

It is said the St. Patrick died on March 17th, hence we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on this date.

St. Patrick’s real name was Maewyn Succat and he was born in Scotland (not Ireland!) around 385 A.D.

Leprechauns are the official shoe makers of the fairy kingdom.
- Shamrock is the national flower of Ireland.
- The St. Patrick’s Day custom came to America in 1737. It was first celebrated publicly in the U.S. in Boston.

UVU's Tutoring Services Now Available Here at Wolverine Crossing!!!

UVU's Tutoring and Academic Skills Services -- the Math Lab, Academic Tutoring and Writing Center, are joining us here to provide tutoring at Wolverine Crossing! Tutors will be in the study room on the 4th floor of Building G, Monday - Thursday 4:00 to 9:00 pm, starting Monday, January 10th. A writing tutor will be there for about 10 hours each week and his/her schedule will be posted in the study room.
One of their best math and science tutors will work each evening. Lucas will be available Monday and Wednesday nights. Lucas recently graduated with a double major in math and physics. He can tutor any math or physics class, as well as most biology and engineering classes. Richard, who has a degree in Chemistry, will tutor on Tuesday and Thursday nights. He can tutor any chemistry class, and nearly every math and physics class. Both Richard and Lucas can tutor Organic Chemistry, and they both speak Spanish (but they don't consider themselves to be Spanish language tutors).
